The government's newly approved wind power project will be powered by 2022-2023 at a price as low as £ 57.50 per million watts, 50 percent below the 2015 bid.
The UK government will support 11 new energy projects worth £ 176m per year, providing enough energy for 3.6 million households.
"Nearly offshore wind will invest £ 17.5 billion in Britain and create thousands of new jobs by 2021." said Rid Harrington, Minister of Energy Industry.
In these projects, in addition to wind, the advanced conversion technology and organic dyes are also used in combination.
The UK government said today (September 11) that this round of investment will help Britain meet its energy supply targets while supporting the growing UK renewable energy industry and its jobs.
Its promotion of the UK's low-carbon energy supply chain is also part of the government's industrial strategy and clean growth plan.
According to the British government data, the UK now has the world's largest offshore wind energy, its low-carbon industry consolidated turnover of up to 43 billion pounds, employing 23.4 million people.
