(1) The battery unit can be flexibly selected, and the safety is good, and it is not easy to cause fire and explosion. The specific energy of the small-capacity single-cell battery can reach 140Wh/kg. Under the condition that the charging termination voltage is 4.1V, the cycle life can reach 1000 times, and the battery pack is much worse than the battery. The more the battery in series, the more the battery The shorter the cycle life of the group.
(2) Add an automatic fire extinguisher and automatically extinguish the fire after detecting the fire source. The automatic fire extinguishing of the battery box can effectively detect early fires such as lithium ion batteries or super capacitors in the tank of the energy storage device and give an alarm. At the same time, the fire is automatically extinguished and continuously suppressed, and the fire re-ignition of the battery and the capacitor is prevented.
(3) The battery PACK box adds a PUW pressure relief valve to prevent cavity pressure buildup.
(4) The cabinet and each module are selected to withstand high temperature and flame retardant materials. The battery case is made of high temperature resistant material. When the battery case is running inside, it will emit a lot of heat and prevent the battery from abnormally appearing. Therefore, it is better to use high temperature resistant flame retardant material.
Some time ago, when designing the battery pack, Tesla designed a waterproof and breathable valve (also known as PUW pressure relief valve) on the top surface of the PACK. The gas molecules and the liquid and dust particles were used in the order of magnitude difference to allow gas molecules to pass through. Liquid and dust cannot pass, so as to achieve waterproof and breathable, and avoid condensation of water vapor inside the PACK.
