The Nanchang-Changsha 1000 kV UHV AC project is an important part of the UHV AC ring network in Central China, and it is also a supporting project of the Yazhong DC. The total investment of the project is 10.478 billion yuan. A 1000 kV AC substation. Among them, the newly-built line in Hunan Province is 2×115.7 kilometers. The line runs roughly from east to west, passing through Liuyang City and Changsha County. The newly-built iron tower 439 base is planned to be put into operation by the end of this year. Baobian Electric has undertaken the R&D and production tasks of all 7 shunt reactor products at Nanchang Station.
Baobian Electric attaches great importance to the development of Nanchang-Changsha 1000 kV UHV AC engineering products, and lists it as one of the annual key engineering projects, and has compiled detailed design, production, and test plans. The company's designers have optimized the technology based on the feedback from the product operation site. Each production and test link concentrates on party member demonstration posts and party member commandos, concentrated superior forces and meticulously completed R&D, production, and test tasks with high quality and efficiency. Up to now, five 1000 kV reactors at Nanchang Station have been shipped in two batches and delivered to users, and the third batch of two products will be shipped soon.
With the joint efforts of all employees, the Nanchang-Changsha 1000 kV UHV AC project Nanchang station developed by Baobian Electric successfully passed the factory test with 7 240 MVA/1000 kV reactors, which once again demonstrated that Baobian Electric is in the UHV Leading advantage in the field of reactor design and manufacturing.
