At 19:56 on October 31, Unit 2 of the Sichuan Tianming Project successfully passed 168 hours of trial operation and was put into commercial operation, marking the completion of Sichuan’s first power station with two 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical units. So far, the National Energy Group Sichuan Company has installed 5.66 million kilowatts of thermal power in operation and has become the largest thermal power generation company in Sichuan Province.

The Sichuan Tianming Project of National Energy Group is located in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, in the Chengdu-De-Mian load center of Sichuan Power Grid. It is the first ultra-supercritical million kilowatt unit power station in Sichuan Province. This project is the first landing project to implement the strategic cooperation agreement between the National Energy Group and the Sichuan Provincial Government, and construction began in 2015. The project construction adheres to the quality demonstration project goal of "low energy consumption, flexibility, and intelligence". It plans overall optimization and quality control in terms of scheme design, equipment selection, operation control, etc., and is committed to the design of wide-load and efficient power supply, ensuring "high parameters" , "Large capacity, low energy consumption, low emissions" two 1 million kilowatt ultra-supercritical units were put into production with high quality. The coal consumption for power supply can reach 270.77g/kWh, which is 50g of standard coal saved per kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by an active thermal power unit in Sichuan; the engineering environmental protection adopts the most advanced international and domestic environmental protection technology, and the designed emission concentration of smoke, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxide The standard squares are respectively less than 3.5 mg, 23.8 mg and 23 mg, achieving ultra-low emissions.



After the project is fully put into operation, the annual power generation capacity of the two units can reach 10 billion kWh, which greatly improves the comprehensive power generation capacity of the National Energy Group Sichuan Company, effectively meets the increasing demand of Sichuan power load, improves the reliability of Sichuan power grid, and strives to win energy. The battle to secure supply has added important guarantees and played an important role in the high-quality development of the local economy.
