On October 9, the Development and Reform Commission of Yingkou City, Liaoning Province announced the results of the optimal allocation of onshore wind power competition. A total of 6 projects were selected, with a cumulative installed capacity of 1514MW (14MW exceeding the bid announcement), and the parent company of the project developer is Huaneng Group.

According to the previous tender announcement, the preferred wind power scale is 1.5 million kilowatts, all used to support the construction of non-subsidized wind power projects, and applicants are required to commit to the official start of the selected projects by June 2022 and completion by the end of December 2024 Grid-connected.

Up to now, a total of provinces and cities including Shanxi, Shandong, Guangxi, Tianjin, Hebei, Gansu (Dingxi, Lanzhou, Jiuquan, Zhangye), Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia (Chifeng) and other provinces and cities have issued a list of guaranteed wind power and photovoltaic projects in 2021, which are included in the list. The cumulative scale of wind power projects reached 16.9GW.
