New energy vehicle development will enter the fast lane

When can traffic "roaming" be cancelled? What problems must be solved to promote the development of new energy vehicles?

In the past five years, the development of new energy vehicles in China has achieved remarkable results. Miao Miao gave a series of data: From the perspective of industry scale, China has been ranked as the world's largest producer and sales nation for three consecutive years. As of the end of last year, China’s cumulative total of new energy vehicles exceeded 1.8 million, and last year's production and sales volume was close to 80. Millions of vehicles, more than 50% more than the previous year's production and sales.

Miao Wei said that the new energy vehicle technology has greatly improved. Taking the monomer energy density of a power battery as an example, compared to 2012, the energy density of domestic power battery cells at the end of last year has increased by 2 times, and the price has dropped by 70%.

Many battery motor companies in China have now become designated suppliers to major auto companies in the world. Last year, four new energy vehicle manufacturers entered the world's top 10, and some battery and motor companies have provided support for major auto companies. China's new energy buses have been exported to more than 30 countries and regions in the world.

"The use of new energy vehicles is also more convenient." Miao Wei introduced that by the end of last year, China has built more than 700,000 public charging piles. Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other cities have built a large-scale charging service network.

Miao Wei believes that with the continuous advancement of new energy vehicle technologies, energy conservation and emission reduction will do better and better. The future of new energy vehicles will also show rapid growth. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will strengthen the coordination of overall planning and policy in response to problems such as the lack of core technology control capabilities, insufficient incentives for the use of links, and local protection of new energy vehicles in China.
